Good afternoon, Mt. Carmel church family! I hope you are enjoying this beautiful Wednesday that God gifted to us.

What a wonderful day the Lord provided for us to be back together last Sunday! I fully enjoyed every part of the service! And while I am certain that the presence of God met with our small online crew every Sunday through the pandemic, it was a special blessing to have our church body present and assembled once again! What a joy!

I simply wanted to let you know that the plans for this Sunday, July 12, will be the same as last Sunday. We will have one worship service at 10 a.m. Here are a few details of which to be reminded:

  • The same protocols will be in place for entering and exiting. The bathroom/classroom hallway doors will be used to enter, while the church hallway doors will be used to exit.
  • Masks will be available for anyone who wants one.
  • The cafeteria will be open for families with children.
  • THIS IS NEW: A separate room will be made available as a viewing room for anyone who would like to see or speak with others in the church family before and/or after the service, but would prefer sit outside of the auditorium for the service.
  • A livestream of the 10 a.m. service will be available on Facebook, YouTube, and www.mcrbc.org.
  • Three songs of praise and worship will be sung.
  • I’ll reach out to you later this week about the message.
  • We will exit the auditorium in an orderly  fashion.

Also, take note of these opportunities:

Thursday, July 9: Jenni McQuillan is hosting the final evening of the ladies’ study, All Things New by Kelly Minter, on Facebook at 8 p.m.

Saturday, July 11: The men’s prayer group is meeting this Saturday morning outdoors at the pavilion behind the church at 7:30 a.m.

Tuesday, July 14: I will be hosting Tony Evan's study, Kingdom Man, for our men through a private Facebook Group. A new recording will be released each Tuesday at 8 p.m. If you have Facebook and would like to join, please e-mail me so I know to send you an invitation to join us.

Finally, thank you to so many who let me know you were praying for my knee surgery yesterday. I was home and resting by 6:30 p.m.—but there are no funny videos to show of me waking up after the anesthesia. Sorry. LOL. But I am truly thankful for your prayers.

Have a blessed day, dear church family. I love you all!
