Because of the number of COVID-19 cases in our church family and community, we moved our Sunday worship services online-only for Sunday, December 6 & 13. Although this move came as a surprise to our church, nothing every comes as a surprise to our God. He knew exactly what was going to happen, and He knew exactly how He would continue to provide for us.

As a pastor, there is an important balance when looking at the giving of our church. When the offerings are healthy, that is often an indication that the hearts of our members are both infused with Gospel generosity and loose from the call of worldly possessions. However, healthy offerings can also easily take our eyes off Jesus Christ as the Head of the Church as we look to our finances for security and approval. May our hearts return daily to the Good News of the Gospel that nothing we have is because of ourselves—everything we have is from God!

Our grace giving totals for Sunday, December 6 & 13 are $11,404.90.

Thank you, Mt. Carmel, for your continued faithfulness to the mission—whether we are meeting in-person or not. May God continue to richly bless you!

2 Corinthians 8:9 "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich."
