 Dear Prayer Warriors,

  Thank you for your faithfulness in praying for those in need.  May the Spirit strengthen us when we are weak and open our eyes to His goodness as we lift up and bear the burdens of others.  

 

Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Romans 8:26

Praises

We have a new Senior Pastor!  Pray for Pastor Heath, Shawna and the family as they make the transition to Mt. Carmel.

 

Special Requests

Tyler Campbell: continued prayers for healing: Tyler remains in the D.C. Hospital. He continues to struggle with an infection and his breathing. 

Missionaries, Leonard and Rose Bwalya: They lost their 36 year old daughter, Bibian. Please pray for the family as they grieve her loss. 

Larry Weakley: He has cancer of the colon and  he will be having surgery on  May 16th.

Michael Jenkins and family: grieving the loss of Lewis Jenkins, Michael's grandfather;  Family night is tonight @ 6 O’clock at Fellowship Baptist Church in Stanley. The funeral will be held tomorrow @ 11 at Fellowship Baptist Church. 

 

Physical Issues:

Savannah Owens: More medical tests to determine the cause of her tachycardia, doctor appt. in July for more tests and a plan forward, current medicine is working

Matthew Owens:  Undergoing tests to determine the source of a long term infection; struggling to recover from lymes disease

Ron Marcus: doing well from his sinus surgery, continued prayer for health needs

Barbara & John  Risley:  They are grieving the loss of Barbara’s  nephew, Bobby Dowdy who passed away this week.

Williams & Andrews Family: grieving the tragic loss of their loved one, Lauren Andrews. 

Nikki (Lisa and Tom League's niece ): Nikki has had a stroke and needs our prayers.

Jared and Stephanie Fogle (Joe & Jane Fogle's son and daughter in law) Prayers for their unborn child as well as safety for Stephanie.

Kolbin Owens:  Pray for healing for Kolbin as he is having back issues and muscle spasms. 

Sherri Heiston:  will be undergoing a hip replacement

John Risley: health needs

Dorothoy Rothgeb:  health 

Ron Marcus: doing well from his surgery, has follow up tests in regard to his shoulder and neurological issues

Charlotte Smeltzer:  recovering from a wombs from the dog attack she incurred last week

Kim Foltz: (friend and neighbor of Yvonne) has a very aggressive cancer and is currently in the hospital

Andy Klein : ( the brother in law of Linda and Gordy DeMeritt) was diagnosed with mesothelioma. He is home and will begin his treatments.

Ward Demeritt: will be going thru radiation and chemotherapy, battling nerve damage in his face and neck from the surgery 

Paul DeMeritt:  (brother of Gordon DeMeritt) recently diagnosed with lymphocytic lymphoma

Diana Fairbanks:  daughter of Faye Cave, heart issues and possible transplant needed

Sherri Needle:  Ann Vaughn’s cousin, cancer has returned

Jean Triplett: facing upcoming surgery on her heart and just received a cancer diagnosis

Timothy Knott: Brother of Rebecca Blanchette, having kidney issues

Ruth (Sharon Tucker’s aunt) – battling cancer, pray for Salvation

Catherine Mishler: ( Britiney Fitzwater's mother) has been moved to Hidden Springs Skill Care Unit. 

Mozell Turner:  Jerry Turner’s mom, health needs

Cheryl Campbell: (friend of Janet Turner) health

Irene Bradley:  continued prayers for her muscle disease to improve and her cancer to remain in remission.

David Thomas:  brother of John Thomas, undergoing serious health issues 

Jim Keyser:  father of Carol Butler; has health needs and needs assurance of salvation

Bonnie Bradley: friend of Betty Seal, health, spiritual needs

Sue Whittacker: ( sister to Vickie Smoot) is currently in the hospital at Page Memorial and requesting prayer

Tiffany Ducker:  going through cancer treatments; She is neighbor to Charlotte Gochenour and friend of Ron Keyser
