Dear Care Ministry Warriors,

     Thank you for your faithfulness in interceding on behalf of our church family.  Prayer changes things; most of all, the one who prays! In the words of C.S. Lewis:  “Prayer does not change God, It changes me.”


Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12

 

Praises:

Danny Grandstaff :  doing much better from intestinal surgery

Irene Bradley:  is still in the hospital but is showing signs of improvement

Ron Marcus:  is recovering well from his surgery

Physical Issues:

Cheryl Campbell (friend of Janet T) -- health

Jeb Buracker (Carol Butler’s friend) – stage 3 pancreatic cancer. Pray for assured salvation.

Ruth (Sharon Tucker’s aunt) – bone cancer has returned, and a blood clot was also recently found. Pray for salvation.

Carolyn Palmer: Carolyn is in RMH and is very sick from a UTI

Ben Opalka:  Son of David and Deb Opalka, He is in Newport News with serious health issues, Pray for his salvation.

Derrick Caviness- He will be undergoing heart surgery.  

Lewis Jenkins – (grandfather of Michael Jenkins) declining health 

Kimberly Plaster – (Carla Plaster’s Aunt) She has had Lung cancer and is having complications.  

Wade family: grieving the loss of Stanley Wade 

Beverly Hall:  Fell and broke her wrist; She had surgery and is recovering at home

Danny Grandstaff:  is recovering from intestinal surgery 

Tony Shultz:  ( son in law of Carolyn Deshazzo and husband of Denise Shultz) fell and broke a bone in his arm.

Ron Marcus:  Recently had sinus surgery and will be having some dental surgery this week.

Irene Bradley: (Renee Grandstaff’s Aunt) In Winchester Hospital with complications from her cancer treatment

Mary Ashby:  ( Friend of Yvonne’s) has been diagnosed with cancer

Ted Grandstaff Family:  ( Husband to Francis Grandstaff, Brother to Charlotte Gochenhour and Billy Grandstaff) Ted went home to be with the Lord this past week

Anna Wyrill:  ( David Duley’s niece ) having gall bladder surgery on Friday.  Anna’s mom, Jan Yantz , is waiting for results from a mass that was removed from her spinal chord. 


Ongoing Health Issues:

 Charlotte Wade – health and grieving the loss of her husband, Stanley

Ashley Dyke – MS 

Betty Burrill (Bryant’s mom) – health

Fran Grandstaff -- health and grieving the loss of her husband, Ted

Don and Wanda Hoak -- health

Helen Waters -- health

Myrtle Thompson (retired missionary) – good health to keep serving in her church/community
